QUICK INFO Once a young adventuring Rogue with a secret heart of gold, an act of altruism became Crow's downfall when he decided to investigate the disappearance of a fellow thief involving the Rekenber Corporation. He found out that Rekenbercorp was kidnapping people to use in their human experimentation research in which they were trying to find a way to gain power quickly without the need to be reborn. He was caught during his investigation and made part of the experiment, forced to become a Stalker with the use of a piece of the Heart of Ymir; a powerful crystal that powers the world. He lost his sanity and, soon after, his life when the laboratory he was kept caught fire in an accident. He was left a mindless, vengeful spirit until his old wizard friend Theo came and rescued him, using forbidden magic to give Crow corporeal form and his sanity back. Crow has been on a quest for vengeance against Rekenbercorp ever since. POWERS & SKILLS THIEVERY ✘ Being a Stalker class, Crow is very good at stealing things to the point that he can divest enemies of their equipment even during the heat of battle. His weapon of choice is a dagger and he's extremely proficient in stabbing things (especially in the back), though he also has some proficiency in using a bow and arrow. He's good with poisons, both in creating and curing them, and he can set traps. Most notably, he has the ability to become invisible and stay that way for up to 5 minutes so long as he stays still. He can move while invisible, but it halves the duration and he can't move at full speed so running is out of the question or else the illusion will be broken. SPIRIT ✘ Technically Crow is still a ghost-like creature. If the ring that tethers him to a corporeal form and suppresses the Heart's power to allow him back his sanity is taken off his person, he'll turn back into an aggro monster. In that form, he's incorporeal and thus very hard to hit. Severely damaging his body also leads to him losing his corporeal form and reverting back to his mindless, vengeful spirit state. The only true ways to kill him is by using holy magic or shattering the Heart of Ymir. IC PERMISSIONS PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it, he's not averse to it. ROMANCE/RELATIONSHIPS: If you're into the whole undead thing, sure. That said, he does carry a torch for Theo and his emotional availability is questionable at best, but he doesn't mind anything casual. PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go for it! Just be warned that he fights dirty. TELEPATHY: He's not going to be happy about people being in his head, but sure. OTHER NOTES: None.
